Friends of the Library Sommerville

Friends of the Library groups support various branch libraries. These groups are composed of citizens and library users who appreciate their libraries and show their support by raising money to fund special projects. Friends groups also sponsor programs for the public and help to increase the libraries’ visibility within the community.

Local Hurricane Ida Relief Fund

Our ministry provided Hurricane Relief support (financially and spiritually) for our neighborhood and community to help rebuild and or replace items lost during the Hurricane.

The Armstrong Women Empowerment Center (AWEC) Kenya

(AWEC) is a beacon of hope in a Kenyan village known as Rabuor. It offers three core programs for women, girls, and boys hoping to create positive changes in the local community.

Neighborhood Share Table

This table is a neighborhood effort and is free. It is placed in our neighborhood for those who want to donate or for those in need of personal items, food, clothing, etc.
